Because of its low cost, high strength, light weight, fast construction speed and other advantages, a large number of steel structures are used in industrial plants and high-rise buildings.
At the same time, due to the particularity of the use function of the steel structure, the special requirements of the production process and the uniqueness of large span and high strength, the construction site needs to hoist, weld and climb a large number of steel structures, which brings great danger to the safety of the construction personnel. Therefore, it has always been the top priority of security issues. The following is a summary of the construction process of the steel building workshop.
1. From managers at all levels to each employee, establish a sound safety management system, sign safety agreements, and define their own safety responsibilities.
2. Strengthen the training and education of safety knowledge.
3. The construction personnel and management personnel shall strictly implement the safety operation specification.
4. The construction personnel shall be familiar with the safety technical operation procedures of the type of work, understand their own safety production responsibilities, and earnestly implement the safety management system.
5. Before construction, check the quality, safety technology and dangerous points of employees.

1. Safety measures for member mobilization
(1) During transportation, appropriate vehicles shall be selected according to the length and weight of components.
(2) The components shall be leveled with wood blocks on the transport vehicle, and the extra long components shall be marked and firmly bound to ensure that the components will not deform or damage the paint coating during transport.
(3) During the loading and unloading operation, the operation shall be carried out according to the instructions of the commander to prevent injuries.
(4) During hoisting, the slings shall be firm and reliable, and all kinds of non welded ones shall be firm. Lifting is not allowed without connecting fasteners.
(5) Before hoisting, loose items shall be bound firmly and kept in balance.
2. Workshop foundation engineering safety measures
(1) Fabricate and install the formwork, and control the spacing and height standard between individual bolts within the allowable deviation range.
(2) Fix the bolt group to protect the bolt thread from damage during concrete pouring.
3. Measures to prevent the crane from tipping
(1) The road on hoisting site shall be flat and solid. If the soil is soft, separate roads shall be laid.
(2) Inclined hoisting is prohibited. Inclined cranes can lead to overloading, rope breakage and rollover accidents.
(3) Slings used to bind members shall be calculated.
(4) The binding method shall be correct and firm to prevent the slings from breaking or slipping from the components during hoisting, which will reduce the weight of the crane and overturn it.
(5) Regularly check the safety of all lifting tools.
(6) Strictly abide by the ten no lifting rules for hoisting machinery operation.
4. Measures to prevent falling
(1) Relevant regulations shall be strictly implemented for high-altitude operation.
(2) Operators shall set up safety nets and correctly use safety belts when working at heights.
(3) It is not allowed to climb the steel column by hand.
(4) When workers need to work at heights, they should set up a tool type temporary workstation with a width of 0.8~1.0m.
(5) If it is necessary to walk on the top chord of the overhead roof truss, lifelines shall be set on the top chord of the roof truss.
(6) Ladders shall be firm and tied with ropes and fixed parts to ensure safety.
(7) Operators shall pay high attention when walking on the paved roof panel to avoid falling on the roof.
