In order to avoid excessive temperature stress, the distance between the centers of the two supports should not be greater than 72 meters.

For the eccentrically braced frame system, it has the characteristics of pure frame and centrally braced frame system because of the set of energy-dissipating beam segments. In the elastic stage, the stiffness is large, the horizontal lateral displacement is small, and it has good ductility and energy dissipation capacity, which can effectively reduce the seismic action of the whole structure, which is beneficial to achieve a safe and economical structural design.
