Canglong Group successfully delivered an efficient and reliable one-stop steel structure building solution for a steel workshop project for a Hungarian client. This project aimed to create a modern and fully functional industrial production space.

Project Overview and Design

This single-story industrial workshop measures 35 meters (length) x 27 meters (width), covering an area of ​​945 square meters, providing a spacious work area. The design utilizes a classic and practical double-pitched roof structure. This design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also effectively guides rainwater drainage, preventing water accumulation, while enhancing the overall sense of space and meeting the aesthetic and functional requirements of European industrial architecture.

Main Steel Structure System

The workshop's framework is entirely constructed of high-strength steel, ensuring overall stability and safety:

Load-bearing Frame: The main beams and columns are all made of H-beams. H-beams, with their excellent bending resistance and structural stability, form the core load-bearing system of the workshop, easily handling various loads and providing a robust framework.

Secondary Structural System: The purlins for both the roof and walls utilize C-shaped steel. Lightweight and high-strength, C-shaped steel is efficiently bolted to the H-shaped steel main frame, forming a complete support network and providing a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of the enclosure system.

Enclosure System and Insulation: The project's enclosure system uses high-performance PU (polyurethane) sandwich panels, applied to both the roof and walls.

Superior Performance: PU sandwich panels are renowned for their excellent thermal insulation properties. The high closed-cell rate of the internal polyurethane foam effectively blocks heat transfer, significantly reducing heating and cooling energy consumption in the workshop, creating a constant and comfortable working environment, and contributing to energy conservation and environmental protection.

Durability and Sealing: The composite structure of the metal surface layer and the PU core material gives the panels high strength, good fire resistance, and excellent airtightness and watertightness. The panels are connected using professional interlocking or overlapping methods, ensuring the overall building shell is robust, windproof, and rainproof.
